What is TCOU?

The Constellation of Us, or TCOU, is a sapphic fantasy book trilogy I'm planning as my next major project. It will feature typical fantasy fare such as messy political situations, magic, swords, and shapeshifters, among other things! In a sense, it is a love letter to all sorts of stories that I'm fond of, but with my own spin.[Synopsis will come when it's ready!]

When will it be released?

It really depends on how much it flows and how much time I will have to focus on it. The first book will likely be in the ballpark of 100k-110k words as a standard fantasy novel, and I would love to get it properly edited.Ideally, I would start finalizing the first book by the end of the year, but I am agonizingly thorough about my own edits so I cannot promise anything. I'd also love to make some headway into Book 2 before publishing Book 1, but we'll see how things shake out.

I'm interested. Where can I follow the progress?

I will be posting regular updates on my Tumblr and Bluesky, as well as miscellaneous art of the series (I feel obligated to say that I consider my art/designs non-canon for now.)When I feel like I'm gaining enough momentum in the writing process, I'll likely start up a newsletter and a proper website to update those interested.Eventually I will be in the need of ARC readers, so definitely keep your eyes peeled in 2027 if that interests you!
